Sugar Demolition, Red Hook Pretty massive noise last week as part of the old sugar refinery was demolished. It actually shook the Fairway building.
The refinery gets a mention in today's New York Times story about urban explorers. Coincidentally, I have a ticket for today's tour of the abandoned Atlantic Avenue subway tunnel.
